Equine Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning ‘finger pressure’. It is a practical everyday hands-on therapy based on the same principles as acupuncture and acupressure. Shiatsu uses pressure to gently stimulate the body’s natural healing ability. Shiatsu serves to balance and harmonise energy flow through the sense of touch, gently stimulating the body’s natural healing ability. A balanced flow of energy is both cause and effect of good health.

During my visit you will also find out what element your horse is, and what really are the best ways of working with him.
Very
important the Vet Act 1962 states that owners must have
vets permission for any complementary or alternative therapy. Please make
sure that you have spoken to your vet before I arrive. I will ask you
to sign a statement to that effect. I am happy to work with vets especially
concerning serious injuries or illness, or just to talk about shiatsu
in general.
